What is a good product for dark/age spots on the face? I haven't tried anything yet, but have read that the Proactive one doesn't work or has minimal results. Suggestions?

My mom likes the Garnier one. She has bad freckles and has seen some clear up.

The garnier one seems to break me out. Those creams work over time but wear sunscreen at all times or it's a waste of time.

Vitamin C serum!!!!!!! Best thing you can ever do. You can find it relatively cheap (not super fancy from a name brand line) at walgreens/target/etc. and it has 100% vitamin C-more than some high end have. It's great for dark spots, wrinkles and uneven skin tone!!!! My mom used it and it really REALLY helped her sun spots. Also, she is using the Bio oil face product (the body formula gets rid of stretch marks and scars, so the face one is great for face problems). In just a couple of weeks, i have seen a TREMENDOUS difference in my mom's skin! So try both :)

I suggest first try the bio oil because it has worked the best, then go to the vitamin C to get rid of the lesser spots or maintenance.

I would try the anything from the chroma white line from dermalogica like the tri-active cleanser or c-12 concentrate. The whole chromawhite line is meant for hyperpigmentation a girl in my class uses it because she gets post inflammatory hyper pigmentation anytime she pops a pimple and it has worked wonders on her skin.
