I have really long hair down to my mid waist right now, and it's extremely thick. It is well groomed with barely any breakage, and it is very shiny and silky. BUT, I am a person who likes changing things all the time; especially when it comes to hair. You will never see me with my hair in the same hair style twice in a row. I do have minor layers, but should I just get different layer, or cut it off? I am 5'11 and I have medium skin tone. I have never dued my hair before, or even put highlights in my hair. I also have grren eues if that helps any.
PS! I am new here so please add me!!! :)

Get different layers, don't cut it off you'll regret it later especially if your hair takes long to grow out!

I think it's great that you like to try new things, but I remember when I chopped off my long locks, and I completely regret it just a few days later. I have thick hair as well, and chopping it off just made it thicker and more difficult to style (even after having it thinned). I say keep the length, but if it's something you've been really wanting to do, then go for it! I just know from my experience, I missed my hair and took forever to get to the length it once was.
