Contouring with a bronzer.

I was thinking about purchasing thebalm desert bronzer and I was wondering if it is a good product. Also can it be used for contouring?

If it's warm toned and/or shimmery then I wouldn't suggest it for contouring. Bronzers are usually warm toned so that they can add a sun kissed glow to the skin, which is not what you want for contouring. To contour you'll want a matte cool toned shade to crease shadows rather than to add color.

Thanks Alexis, it is hard to tell online what the true color is but I think it may be a little too warm.

You're welcome, Devon. I used to use the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer to contour since it's, in my opinion, more on the cool side so it's great for contouring but also a nice bronzing shade if you just want to use it as a bronzer some days and a contour other days (:
