I have combination skin and have been using mattifying moisturiser, primer on my t-zone and Mac Pro long wear foundation but every time I were primer it makes my skin more oily. I use a tiny amount and apply it with my finger let it dry then apply my foundation with a stippling brush. I have tried soap and glory, sleek and no.7 primer. Does anyone have any tips? Thank you.

So have you tried not using the primer and it's not as oily? If you don't need it then I say just skip it - as long as you moisturize that's all you really need before foundation.

When I don't use primer it's not as oily, if it's not needed I'll try skipping it, thanks for your help :)

I agree with Diana. IF you really want to use a primer perhaps you could set the entire look with a matte translucent powder such as MUFE's!

You got great advice up there- definitely don't use it if you don't need it! I've found the only primer that makes a difference is the Makeup Forever mattifying primer. You could try that in your T-Zone and be sure to use setting powder everywhere you get oily
