I have hooded eyelids, so my eyeshadow fades out fast so I need a good primer. I've heard mac paint pots are good for primer as well as a base but I've also heard good things about the UD primer potion, which do you prefer? :)

I have the same issue. I use too faced shadow insurance. I also put on my foundation on my eye lids too underneath it. it works for me

The Kat Von D high voltage eyeshadow primer works wonders! you just can't put too much or else it will smudge because it's super thick! I could have the same eyeshadow on for days with no creases using it! I apply it with my finger and use a beauty blender for the blending. I've had a for months now and haven't even used half of it because you need only a little bit, like much smaller than a pea. hope I was some help!

I have very hooded eyes and my holy grail eye primer is the Lorac Behind The Scenes. I got a travel size of it with my Lorac Pro Palette and have never looked back, it definitely keeps my shadows from creasing all day long (:
