Hey lovelies! I'm in the market for a new foundation and I hear great things about both of these that I mentioned in the title. I was wondering which one you all prefer. Also, if I go into Mac or Ulta will they help me match to my skin? I've lost my summer tan so it's time for a new foundation color. Oh the joys of being mixed! Please and thank you!

Ok so I have both foundations, and they are very different from each other. Are you talking about the Mac studio fix fluid foundation? (There's a powder form). The MAC foundation gives more coverage than too faced, (medium to full coverage), the finish is matte and can cling to some dry patches. The foundation can feel a bit heavy, imo it applies best with a damp beauty blender. I'm not sure if I would recommend it to somebody with dry skin.
The Too faced foundation is definitely more moisturizing, and medium buildable coverage. The finish is more like natural/satin finish. I use this foundation in the winter when my skin gets very dry. Overall, they are good foundations. But very different. Mac is also thicken in consistency than too faced. You should get samples :)

Thank you! I have really weird skin in the winter some days it's oily in my t-zone and other days it's normal not dry not oily. I have super rosy cheeks so I'm thinking I would rather have a full coverage foundation. My only concern is that the MAC will be too drying or look too caky

Exfoliate and moisturize before applying :) I would say you can probably get full coverage with Too faced. Try to get a sample or just return if you don't like :)
