Blending Brush Help

Okay, I'm sort of a beginner at the contouring stuff and I've been watching tutorials and practicing hoping that I can get it down! But I have questions on the brushes you blend the contouring with. Do you have a brush set aside for ONLY blending? And how often do you wash it?
Any other tips will be much appreciated!

I have a brush set aside its the real techniques contour brush it's cut to the side so it makes it a lot easier to blend out my contour. You don't necessarily need to get that type of brush there's other brands that do is as well & also you have to keep every brush clean just so it won't cause breakouts on your skin. I do it once every two weeks or whenever I see the product is just getting attached to the brush if that makes sense. I love contouring,it's my favorite part of makeup😊if you have any other questions maybe I could help or throw in my opinion.

I myself use a specific brush for contouring, so I don't mix it with anything, liquid or powder. I don't contour often so I clean those brushes once a week, but if you use it daily, I'd say one every three days. I bought two sets so one can be drying while I use the other lol.

I think since you're just beginning, one brush to apply and blend will do fine. You'll just need to start out with minimal product and build it up if you want more. Something like the sculpting brush from real techniques (or any brush a similar shape, there are many) would suit your needs. It's angled, so it fits the hollows of your cheeks and temples well, but it's also ever so slightly tapered, so if you dip it into your contouring product lightly, you'll get just enough on the center of the brush to apply and can blend with the rest of it.
