I bought a "little black dress" last year and wore it to a semi-formal at my school. I'm now invited to a fancy event that requires two dresses but my budget only allows for me to buy one. Is it acceptable to wear this dress to this event? People who were at the first event will be at the second.

I say go ahead!! you can always just style it differently. honestly, I have never had the budget to buy many dresses, and I always used my classic LBD for every formal event and no one ever said a thing. as long as you feel confident and pretty :)

I agree with Maggie. You can also wear different shoes or jewelry.

I agree switch up your jewelry, add a belt, wear boots one night and shoes the next, add a scarf or jacket to make it look a little different. Do you makeup different like a bright lip and no one will notice.
