Looking for a 20s Flapper dress for Halloween. We really only have one Halloween store here in town and the quality is basically horrible.
So I'd love a good quality dress, like a fringe dress!
Wondering what stores you guys use that are good quality products and shipping isn't insanely long!
I'm in Canada FYI.

It's hard to find good quality Halloween costumes because most companies make them to be worn one night only - I used to use costumeexpress.com but it wasn't good quality but really cheap - I think the best quality costumes are made by yourself - just buy a nice dress that fits the style and time period and buy some accessories at a vintage store to go with it.

I completely agree with Diana. When I dressed up as a flapper, I actually bought a dress that could be repurposed later. The first time, I actually used a floor-length skirt and wore it as a dress: I then added a belt below the navel to create a dropped waist effect, and then I added a long pearl necklace and some Tango dance shoes. Accessories, hair and makeup will make the look! Take a piece of lace, put it across your forehead. Create pin curls or a faux bob (YouTube is your best friend!) and check out Macahadowcombos on YouTube for the historically accurate makeup look. Good luck!!

Yeah I've done the DIY before but I just don't feel like putting the effort in this year lol. And our only craft supplies store is wal mart which has nothing anyways.
