I think you could pull off shorter hair, but make sure you are 100% positive first. I cut off my hair in like 5th and 6th grade and I regretted it. Maybe slowly take off length. Start with just 2-4 inches?

I've always had suuuuuper long hair too, like to the middle of my butt long, and everytime I cut it I always cry I regret it so bad hahaha. However it is a fun change at first and can change up your look big time! Short air can be gorgeous and suit everyone depending on the style. I think a long bon would look gorgeous on you if you're up for the change! Like Katelyn said though, make sure you want it! It is just hair though and it grows back! thankfully my hair grows fast so everytime I cut it, within a year it back. to my butt lol. I personally think shorter hair is more work though and you have to actually style it which can suck, when my hair is longer, I can just shower and air dry and it looks decent, with short hair I fouhd myself always straightening.

I think you could definitely pull it off, just make sure you know what you're getting into. If you have really straight hair like me then you'll need to constantly style it to get it to look good- left alone shoulder length bobs/lobs will flip up at the ends, which isn't what some people are looking for.

I had a bob and a lob which look cute on lots of people, but I did have to straighten it often because it's hard to just throw it in a braid or a ponytail. A pixie cut, however only needs a styled blow dry and you're off to go. Of course different hair textures have different issues, my hair is thick so I have to style it in the morning with water and some times that doesn't work out because my hair is difficult. I honestly find that everyone who gets a pixie cut looks cuter afterwards! You just have to have the right cut for your face. I'd suggest you keep it a bit longer than a traditional pixie cut, and then cut it shorter if you are feeling brave.

My hair was down to my waist and I really wanted to cut it but everyone told me not to because it was so pretty but I did what I wanted and I didn't cut it as short as I was planning to but I LOVE it so much! I definitely feel I made the right choice, so I would recommend taking it slowly and cutting it off by a few inches and if you like it then you can stop or you can have your stylist go shorter. Just remember, no matter what people say, do what you want and what will make you happy!
