I really like it! and yes, the contour could be better :) you just need to blend it out more and maybe get a different color. the color you used in the contour kit looks a bit to orangey.

I love the too faced bronzers for contouring, but there's also the NYX blush in taupe- it's available online. Looks great!

@ Kitty K thank you! My price range is probably $40. I've never tried cream but the idea seems intriguing. I tried this elf palette because it was cheap and I didn't want to splurge before I knew what I was doing. (the closest sephora is an hour away too). So basically any suggestion would help!

Nyx taupe blush is a good contour for fair skin. It really looks like a shadow.

The Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder... blends like silk... isn't warm toned.. a perfect shadow. It's an original and you can't find no other like it an you cannot go wrong with the original. He does have a cream version as well. Kryolan's Paint Stick in FS31 is also a similar shade and cost about $18.00. RCMA also has a lovely contour kit for crème.
