I was just wondering: when you go to do people's makeup, how many eye shadow palettes do you take with you? I always feel I am taking way too many.... eye shadow is my weakness... I admit.

I hear you on that,I usually find out what look they're going for and do a trial run on the look before hand but if that's not a option I'll carry the basics and a few pops of color in the mix of it. I'll also be honest sometimes I call my friend Jackie and she helps me narrow it down which helps relieve my stresses because I always over think it and she's my rock to help tame this beast lol. :)

Thanks for answering. Haha , Alma... I used to drive Jacqueline nuts I think with all my questions. I also overthink way too much. I have product overload, so I am alsways in trouble deciding what to take :)
Gen, if I can ask, I assume you have other eye palettes. what makes you decide what to take?

My mom is a makeup artist, and she has set pallets that she will always take that have warm and cool neutrals in them and then just her personal favorites. Other than that she asks the client what look they are going for and if they have any specific wants, and she narrows it down from there. However she mostly just does permanent makeup now.
