Urban decay, for sure! I own the naked2 palette and naked skin foundation, it's wonderful. I feel like smashbox might be good, haven't tried it yet. Elf brushes are good if they're from the studio line, the plain white ones break very easily.

If you want quality makeup definitely go with urban decay, their eyeshadow/primer combo stays all day and night without creasing, however if you're looking for something thats easy on the eyes AND the bank card, I would go with ELF

Urban Decay! Elf is good if you're on a budget. They have decent prices. But Urban Decay's products have the best quality!

UD has the best eyeshadows hands down! Elf has some good ones, but they definitely aren't as pigmented (and a fraction of the cost!) I love Elf blushes! I owned Smashbox's Studio Skin Foundation, but I ran out and purchased Revlon Colorstay (and I love it!!!). I love Smashbox's Foundation Primer (esp the color correcting). All of them are great brands for different types of products!

I would say, in general, Urban Decay as well. They are one of my favorite brands as far as eyeshadows go, both quality and colors!

A lot of people like Urban Decay mainly for their "Naked" palette, but I purchased one of their previous palettes and ended up returning it. Some of the pigment was very weak, and wouldn't blend well. I'd have to go with Smashbox. Some of their shadows are a bit soft, but have overall great pigments.

Elf in a pinch, I love smashbox lip and skin products, urban decay has the best eyeshadow and primer.
