Good job Kristen! Looks awesome. This is just my opinion but all paints will need to lay over and over sometimes. The first layer you apply and let sit for a few seconds then go back and do it again. Do you have a body brush? Or a flat paddle? If so you can use it to apply it and if in some area's you need to stipple then do so and smooth it out with a damp sponge. Sometimes you'll need a pigment or shadow to help bring out the color and it's no one's fault at all it just happens and is the reality of painting. I do also if need be use a Ivory lower cost foundation and add pigment or shadow to that because it can help give a bit of a hold on color. Hope I made sense and helped :)

I can't stand those brushes either but let me tell you I use their sponge for canvas painting lol it actually get's the job done with that. I use soft paint brushes from the craft store delicate bristles they also sell body n face brushes.I just want you to know the truth behind the looks they truly always need work when it comes to color, I personally like using Mehron fantasy FX makeup paints in the tubes for all over they have a bit more bang of color.Then go over if you want with the one's you have.

I like the real beauty blender it's light no air pockets I'm curious to try that body sponge. I think any sponge will work it's all about your hand control :)

Well despite your small setbacks it looks amazing. I second what alma has said about letting the layers dry and I use a paddle brush as well, the few times a year that I body paint.
As far as your title lmao I about fell over when I saw your "basic running errands" look definitely not what I expected.
@ Alma I'll have to look at the Mehron Fantasy FX paints too. They sound great :)

Yes Tiffany give them a try, by the way September is when the Halloween store's open up that's the best time to grab them because they end up cheaper in cost plus those stores usually give out coupons on top of it which is great. But if not just order online. :)

@ Alma I actually have a store called Norcostco thats near me and carries brands like rcma, graftobian, mehron etc.year round. As a mua I get discounts too :) I'll definitely do a comparison on prices with the halloween stores though!

Awesome Tiffany, I live by Cameraready which is awesome but last year I compared the two prices and it was lower at the Halloween store some down to 50 cents that was a steal. :) Can't wait for you to give them a try.
