Sigma E40 blending brush worth it?

I feel like this is in the wrong category, but my friend bought the sigma e40 brush but she only supports animal friendly makeup/brushes & the brush she got has real hair so she offered it to me for $10. I've heard about the brush on YouTube a lot but is it really good for blending? Do any of you own it?

I have the e40 but I'm pretty sure it's synthetic lol. Tbh I regret buying this brush. It does a bad job of blending in my opinion because of the bristles in it.

The E40 is synthetic. I have it and I like it for applying color into the crease, but for blending I use the E25. Sigma's website also says they are synthetic but in my experience the E25 blends more evenly and smoothly than the E40.

Bottom line: I use the E40 almost every time I do my makeup so I would say it's a staple in my collection.
