What heat protector do you use when you style? I use heat everyday on my hair and this is the thing that has definitely saved my hair. I use Its a 10 Plus Keratin. Its more expensive but a bottle last me a good 4 months if not more and thats everyday use (I still use it even if I don't use heat). It only takes a few sprays (its pretty heavy and will weigh your hair down if you use too much!). Before when I used other heat protectors (like Tressemme, Garnier, Got2B, Chi, and the list continues) they helped a little but left my hair feeling dry and I had tons of split ends but with Its a 10 my hair looks and feels a thousand times healthier. The first time I used it I honestly didn't care for it because I sprayed too much and it made my hair feel heavy (this is why you only need a few sprays!) but then I ran out of the travel size bottle and went back to using my other heat protecters and my hair looked so fried (smelled bad & looked so bad) I knew then that I definitely had to get a big bottle of Its a 10 asap.
Anyways, I also recommend using a sulfate free conditioner like L'Oreal Ever- lines. And I really love Organix Argan Oil for helping keep my hair nice and shiny.
As for heat free styles, braids are a great option (if you know how to do them! youtube and pinterest is great for tutorials).

I use Turn up the heat, it's pretty good but causes a lot of grease!
