Personally I own this one and rotate between my other foundations. I mix two shades nw 15 and nc 20. For reference I'll post an image of the product on my hand (btw the amount shown is way more than enough for the entire face) and an image of me wearing it today.

The one tip I'd say with this one is not to apply a primer beneath it or it doesn't seem to wear as well.

Thank you. Well I powder everything so I wear it matte lol but it is technically a satin. I wear my makeup most days at least 10 hours and I'd definitely say that it holds up. As for the 24 hr claim, I've never worn it that long nor gone swimming in it but I do notice that it stays quite nicely. I've also noticed that it's a product that really needs to be buffed in, if extra sits on the surface and then you touch your face it will lift.

I wear NC15 in the MAC studio fix fluid but in the PRO Longwear I wear NC20. I usually wear this for 12 hours a day. I love it. I have never worn it for longer than 15 hours but I have worn it in a musical that I was in where we had to dance a lot and had bright lights shining causing a lot of sweat. At the end of the show it still looked fresh--I did set it with Ben Nye neutral set and sealed it with Ben Nye final seal--

I will attach a photo of me wearing the NC20 Pro Longwear foundation and concealer. This is how I wear it in normal everyday life.

The shades with this foundation seem to run lighter. I'm usually an NC30 and it was too light, I had to get an NC35.
I find it works for a good amount of different skin types.
When it's applied it does give a satin finish even though it's water resistant.

As far as powder that isn't super matte and blurs lines I find that the mineralized skin finish natural powders are nice. They give a natural-matte slightly satin and not a super powdery matte

Would this foundation work for sensitive, acne-prone skin?

^ I don't think so. When I would wear this particular foundation without primer, since it adheres better to the skin without one, I noticed I would break out the following day /:.
And I don't believe my skin to be super sensitive, but I guess with Mac products it is x:.
