So I start school tomorrow and I was really looking for a hairstyle and a makeup look. For makeup I want something not bold, but not super light either. And I don't know what to do with my hair, it's pretty short (only goes to the top of my shoulders) so any ideas would help! Thanks!

You could try light smoky eyes! Like a not bold brown smoky eye or even a natural pink smoky eye. You could also wear eyeliner on the top, either liquid or you could do pencil and lightly smudge it with a brownish gold shadow on top. And definitely mascara :) mascara always opens up eyes! I love the idea of beachy waves!

Black eyes with eyeliner and red lips would look bold and great.
You could get your hair a fresh trim to make it look great for your first day back. You could also have highlights or possible ombré it :)

A brown smokey eye with clear lipgloss and a nice natural blush would look so pretty! And I actually think just a ponytail or a messy bun would look super cute whilst still being practical :)
