You can start off with your eyeshadow first before doing anything else, once you're done with that it can help you figure out how much you're going to do to your brows and face.
You can also skip out on eyeliner, and maybe use a brown eyeshadow as a soft eyeliner (but not as a cat eye). Have you considered just tightlining your eyes and focusing on long luscious lashes instead of eyeshadow? I'm sure after your first day you'll have a better idea of what make up is accepted and what isn't.

And since you have long hair, a thick side braid (maybe a fishtail or a 5 strand or french) would look really cute!

I agree with Kitty, maybe skip shadow and focus on your lashes and face makeup! I love the way glowy skin looks with just mascara! Or if you do want to wear eyeshadow just do a light crease color and a champagne shadow on the lid! Like this but with no winged liner or lashes!

My go to natural eye is a soft brown in my crease applied w a fluffy blending brush and then a cream color on the kid with a flat shader brush

Who says some people don't naturally have purple eyelids? =P
sorry I had to
but really I would just stick to browns and golds closer to the skin tone for eyeshadow and no fake lashes. a bare lip or mlbb lip color. maybe you could play with brown or champagne smokey eyes? is it the dark smokey look you like or just the extra drama on your eyes?

I agree with just tight-lining and focusing more on the lashes. I do that when I don't want much but still want my eyes to pop. I would definitely focus of the skin more. you're gorgeous, you don't need much ;) really though! however if you must do eyeshadow, I'd say highlight the inner corner and add a light crease color. its not too much but it defines the eyes a bit more.

And I definitely agree with keeping it matte if youre doing eyeshadow!

When I need a natural look, I put a light brown or purple in the crease, focus on my concealer to highlight my face and a really define mascara. I also go with a soft pink lippie

I would suggest to skip shadow. You could do a simple eyeliner without wing, mascara, neutral lip, not too flashy blush and hilighter!
