Maybelline smudges like crazy.
The tarte tartiest clay paint liner and inglot gel liners are my two favs.
Both super matte and creamy, and they don't smudge either.

Kat Von D Tattoo is my holy grail! Been using it for 2 years now. I put it on at 7 am and it doesn't come off or fade until I take it off at 10-11 pm sometimes later. Stila's is also great but KVD's gives a really black matte finish and Stila's is a little too shiny for my liking.

I love my Inglot Gel Liner, it stays on all day. You get a rather generous amount of product for what its worth :)

I absolutely adore my tarte tartiest clay Paint liner. It's perfect for wings because it's so much like a gel but smoother. It's also extremely black and the staying power is impressive. I actually went out last weekend, passed out with my makeup on and woke up with perfect wings LOL!

For pen eyeliners I have loved my givenchy liner couture for along time, and the starlooks one I got in my ipsy bag last month is almost an exact dupe formula wise. for gel liners I really like the loreal 24 laquer liner even though its drug store. its super cheap (comparably) and super waterproof/long lasting. I like the nars eye paint too and it doubles as an eyeshadow so its easy to smudge out. I really do like the mac fluid line one but I have been moving away from them since they announced they are moving to china (china requires animal testing). the makeup forever aqua cream liners are great too. the smashbox gel liners are good for staying power in the waterline but I have issues getting the formula to make a smooth line on the top lid (but maybe thats just me)

I always hear good things about Stila's felt tip eyeliner. I tried Urban Decay Perversion eyeliner, and it was pretty good. It didn't smudge or fade. Still, my favorite has to be Physician's Formula Eye Booster. It's low end, but in my opinion, it's exceptionally better than the UD one.
