I've always admired the faded/gradient looking eyebrows (sorry, don't know the correct term). I've tried but haven't been able to successfully pull this off. I have attached a couple of pics to better describe what I'm hoping to achieve. Please share your tips with me, I'm about to give up.

Take a brow pomade and begin to fill them in, but have a light hand in the beginning, then go heavier on the tail.

I use a shade or two lighter than normal on the inner part, and then mix the shades in the middle up to the arch, and then use my normal shade towards on the arch and the tail. of course you want to be blending as you apply each new shade. its easier for me to get the soft look in the beginning from powder or a pencil instead of pomade or gel because my hair is naturally thicker there. then I go over the tail with pomade to make it cleaner because powders and pencils can get too smudgy for a good tail on my oily skin.

I think it works best if your brows are naturally just more sparse/thinner in the inner area or if your brows are just thinner.
I prefer the more like... Upward looking hair, my brows were too course so I'd tweeze start? Of my brows to make them a tad further apart till the hairs grew out thinner and it worked
