Contour for beginners?

I've just began using contour, is there any that you girls would recommend? Thank you in advance x

Either a pallete or powders I find its easier for beginners to use powder hell I still havent got the power to handle contouring with cream but I guess its your preference but if I had to recommend a powder I'd either go with kvd shade and light pallete or anastasia beverly hills pallete which a lot of people say is to warm but I find it just right for me and as long as you use a little it blends good as for brushs there is a variety style of brushes you can use for contouring I use a tarte brush with a skinny tapered end and a big fluffly end I place the contour with the skinny end then buff out in a circular motion with the fluffy end hope tgis some what helped you.

I use a Japanese brand called Canmake. But I only recommend it for Asian skintones. BUT, as for tips for beginners, I would recommend using a using a fan brush with a powder contour. It gives the lightest application, so you can go lightly and build up slowly. I prefer using the mini fan on the left & the large fan on the right for blending. I just put the middle one in the pic for scale, but if you have a bigger face, you may prefer using the middle one) Also, when blending, alway blend upwards. Its kinda of to explain, but the idea is not to blend the contour line below where you initially applied it. You don't want the contour dragged down onto your lower face. Hope that makes sense. Also, what I do is, starting at the corner of your outer eye, imagine a straight line downwards. Now when I apply my contour starting from my hairline, above the top of my ear, as I start brushing the product towards the center of my face, I NEVER go past that imaginary line. Everybody is different, this may not be look right for you. But it's just how I do it.
