How can you add some red tones back into your hair?

My friend dyed her hair too ashy and wants some red tones back in it.
So instead of dying again, she wants some sort of toner or shampoos to use.
She heard about using ketchup but I really don't think that's liable to work haah.

You could add sugar free Kool aid to conditioner or shampoo. If it's in shampoo is has to be a more vivid red whereas when it's in conditioner it needs to be a pale kinda pinkish color.

Ketchup could work too. Basically, just need pigment to stain the hair which will neutralize the ash color giving a beige tone and if you use it more/longer than it'll give a more red tint
