I'm still researching it, but does your friend know anything else about the gloss? Price? High-end? Drug store? And is the cap gold or red?

The label on the bottom looks like a Bobbi Brown one but the rest of the packaging doesn't look like Bobbi Brown.

Yeah you definitely need to get better pictures...
The little gold embellishment looks almost like a mix of the chanel and the cartier cc logos, but chanel lipgloss doesn't look like that and cartier doesn't do makeup.

I agree - if she can get a clear shot, she might be able to do a "Google search this image" to find the same product or logo.
