Any ideas to make it look with more volume?

Don't condition your roots- weighs them down. Then I blow dry my hair mostly upside down- just the last minute or two I don't to smooth out frizz. I use a little dry shampoo on my roots. If you aren't attached to straight hair some soft waves add a lot of volume too.
