Sephora haul/how to use a bronzer.

I have not tried any of these products yet and I need help with a couple of things. What's your favorite way to use Argan oil? Before make up? At night? I have dry skin btw. I also need help with the bronzer I've never really been into them but since it was a great value why not plus I wanted to try out other things in the set. How do you apply it? What is your favorite brush to use?

I absolutely love the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer. Bronzer is meant to add a sun kissed glow to the skin so it should be applied to high points of the face, like the cheeks, forehead, and the nose. I use the ELF Total Face Brush (a large fluffy brush), tap my brush into the bronzer, and sweep it over the places that I mentioned.

I'm exited thank you Alexis. I usually contour with KVD the first shade in the palette add blush and highlighter. Should I pick one or is it ok to bronze and contour at the same time? Sorry I'm completely clueless when it comes to bronzer.

Sabrina I swatched that lipstick in store but it was out of stock and I literally stalked every sephora and ulta near me and couldn't find it. I finally decided to order online and added the other stuff to get free shipping. I haven't worn it yet but it felt really creamy and non drying hopefully it feels like that on the lips

It's absolutely okay to bronze and contour at the same time! As I said, bronzer adds a sun kissed glow and contouring creates a shadow so since they do different things it's fine to do both (:

Haha ohh that feeling of not being able to breathe if you don't get that one lipstick ;) As soon as the Matte revolution collection hits Denmark I'm going to be the first to get that color! I'm all about the brown lips!

Haha yes I was miserable it really is a beautiful color. I was with my mom she is in her 50s and light skin with cool undertones and she loved it so I think it suits a lot of different people. I know I just got a bronzer and haven't even used it yet but now I'm curious what's your favorite bronzer that isn't matte?

Uhhhh, my absolute favorite bronzer is the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess! It's so beautiful!
For a little less money the Body Shop Honey bronzer is so pretty! lovely for fair/light skin - but I believe they come in darker shades as well!
And for drugstore price Elf makes really great bronzers :)

I use bronzer in a 3 style motion a little on my forhead starting the 3 motion then I sweep it under my cheekbone then along my jaw and the sides of my face

The UD and KVD lipsticks and the KVD eyeshadow are all great picks :) I have all of those exact colors and I love them! I don't know why but I'm obsessed with 1993. And it feels nice on the lips also. The eyeshadow is so smooth and pigmented and I'm really impressed by them.

I have the Josie Maran Light Oil. My skin actually loves that particular formula far more than the original which broke me out in the past. Lately I've been using it for daytime. After I cleanse and tone I place about three drops in my palm and then place my hands together and just gentle pat the oil into my skin. I wait a few minutes and then I apply Josie Maran's Moisturizing Spf47. Wait a few minutes and then I blot with a blotting sheeting before applying my makeup. I have oily/combo skin and find that the oil definitely balances my skin out so I would imagine with your dry skin it would be happy to receive the benefits of the Argan oil. Sometimes I use it at night as well sometimes but apply a sleeping mask over it.

Thanks Shelley that was very helpful. I was browsing through sephora and found a lot of stuff that seems like my dry skin would love I know you said you have oily/combo skin but have you tried any other stuff by Josie Maran? I live in Colorado and my skin hates the winter it gets red and flaky and it's horrible.

You're welcome Maria. As I mentioned I have her Moisturizing SPF47 which is awesome. I use it everyday and it doesn't mess with my various foundation formulas. I have her Argan Milk but I have yet to crack that bottle open yet but I've heard nothing but rave reviews for it (plus you can layer it with the Argan oil). The whipped body butters are nice and I like using those once the weather cools down here in FL. ( she also just released several new scents). And I have her Nirvana Hydrating Treatment Mist which has basically banished my rose water spray to the deeper regions of my beauty closet.lol. My skin loves that stuff. Other than that the rest of my Josie Maran stuff is from her makeup line.
