I have his BAD habit of biting of biting my nails and when I try to make them look nice by half way through school my nail polish is scrapped off and nails ripped help?

Get some fidgeting toys. A cool clicking pen, or something to do with your hands. My sons principal (whose great) tears paper into the tiniest shreds during parent meetings. I used to doodle. You can't deface your nails while your hands are busy doing something.
