I don't know if I fully understand the question :)
Wouldn't you 'pan' them by just using up the product?

She's asking how to get them out

Are you asking how to use them up or how to depot them? Giving us more information will help us give you better and more accurate information to answer your question (:

Heat the eyeshadow over a flat iron. It will melt the glue. Then take a dull knife and cut around the edge. Slide the knife under the pan and it should lift out.

You can use a flat iron or a lighter. The most important thing though is patience. The metal and sometimes clay pans can get really hot and you don't want to burn yourself. If you take your time, and remember makeup pans can be delicate little things, it can be kinda fun.

@Summer - I'm not entirely sure she means depotting just because she mentions that the products are "densely packed" and also mentions she's already "hit pan" on them. If you just were to depot something the density of the product in the pan wouldn't matter I wouldn't think.

Honestly I don't think she's coming back to this thread to tell us what she means anyways.

I mean like how to use up an eyeshadow not depot ex: project panning. Sorry for the confusion😕 I am just setting a goal to use up more of my makeup before it goes bad and get my money's worth.

If you have heard of or done project pan then you know what I'm talking about 😉 ex: multi using, how to stay on task etc..

Check the tag #projectpan on Instagram :) I lurk it from time to time and people do challenges and stuff to finish up their products quickly! However, you're already familiar with project pan so you probably already know this :)
Other than I am not sure! I would love to know as well haha. Sometimes when I'm determined to absolutely finish something up - I will leave it sitting on top of my makeup table rather than put it away in a drawer :)

I've had densely packed eyeshadows before and honestly I just repressed them and now I'm seeing a lot of progress!
