If that particular Macy's has a MAC then I'd suggest
Studio Fix Powder + Foundation. Tons of colors and I love the formula and it gives good natural coverage.
Lipsticks, I love the shades Kinda Sexy, Peachstock, Viva Glam I, Viva Glam IV, Pink Nouveau, Creme Cup, Heroine, Ruby Woo, Up the Amp and Faux.
As far as eyeshadows I love Goldmine, Honey Lust and Amber Lights. I prefer gold and warm tone types of colors on my complexion.
I really like their Select Cover Up concealer wen I want a natural look/medium coverage.
If you want longer lasting concealing then I'd suggest the pro longwear concealer.
As for foundation I love their new waterproof one and of course their Studio Fix Fluid.
If there's an Lancôme, I would get their vibrating mascara, it made my lashes look so long and I like that it didn't get all clumpy.

Laura Mercier foundations. Try them all, they are exquisite. BeautyBlender if you don't have one, please try them. Lightscapade from MAC...my favorite highlight. Also if you have Twitter, check out Dave Lackie. He's awesome for beauty products.

If that Macy's has Inglot I would get Inglot's Duraline! I've owned mine for like a month maybe and I've found 105847282 uses for it. It revives dried up eyeliners, turns eyeshadows to liners, makes drying lipsticks feel less like a crayon, help smooth out eyeliner that tugs on my lid (Duraline on a clean brush!) I would recommend it to anyone / everyone. I think it's about $12 too...absolutely worth it!
