If you mix a raw egg, coconut or olive oil, and a little plain yogurt or honey to thicken it, apply and leave in for about 30 mins and wash out you'll see a difference :) I know the egg sounds gross but part of restoring damaged hair is replacing the protein that was lost along with the moisture it needs. Good luck!

I decided my hair needed a change so I went from dark brown to Ombré a few months ago and my hair was extremely damaged so I started trying out different hair mask, my favorite one is with oils. Mix 1 spoon of 100% pure almond oil and 10 drops of 100% oil together, apply to damp hair and leave it in your hair for as long as you can, I sometimes leave it overnight. My hair feels and looks healthty, it also started growing!

It might just be an excuse to revert to my childish self, but I basically make mixtures with whatever us lying around! Find out what different ingredients in your kitchen do & add them as needed. My current favourite is:
Green People cream face cleanser - helps the oily stuff rinse out without shampoo
Mayonnaise - very moisturising
Apple cider vinegar - conditions, helps scalp
Lemon juice - helps itchy scalp
Tea tree oil - scalp again (I hate my scalp!)
Aloe Vera gel - moisturises
