So I've never done acrylic but I like them, I'm worried they won't stay in because when I did gel nails they didn't stay on and popped right off. What do you think? Try them??

I've never gotten my nails done at a salon but I think you should definitely give it a try
Some of the girls on BL have said that it's pretty damaging for your nails but they'll grow out eventually so whatevs

I've had my acrylics on since the end of July so 😂 just make sure you get a really good acrylic liquid and powder. don't go cheap because the quality will be cheap

You should do acrylic overlay to see if you like it or not. It's acrylic over your real nail :)

I have been getting acrylic over my real nails for about 3-4 years and I don't think they are damaging like people say. I have them put the acrylic powder (color) all over my nails. I've heard of doing an acrylic overlay with gel on top, but I am really hard on my nails and the gel comes off easy. Thats why I do the acrylic. If you don't like them though then don't try to take them off yourself because then it will really damage your real nails! Go back and have them soak them off at the nail salon...

Acrylics are great for a week if you have a nude colour. I've had a acrylics quite a few times and let me tell you that your natural nails are left a mess and it will take months for them to grow out and look normal. A few days ago I took my acrylics off after a month and I have now had a gel coat over my natural nails to hide the ridges. If you want acrylics go for it but please don't do it often and PLEASE stay away from the cheap places where you don't have to book an appointment and it takes 20 mins because they use drills on your nails I learned the hard way lol!
