Just heard that MAC & Rihanna are set to release a 31 piece collection based around her look in May. Since I'm on a six month no-buy I will not being indulging but will you? Your thoughts...

They didn't release a stash of pics to the press but my husband received a fax this morning and WWD posted one pic of an eye palette, two lippies and brushes. I think we're going to see a lot of re-promotes. The packaging is pink with a little white thrown in.

I will not be purchasing, but I'm surprised she didn't do this earlier. I wonder what the inspiration for the colours will be. I'm kind of excited to see the looks/products.

What color is the lipstick? I wonder if it will be worth it, the colors look smiliar to other colors from Mac.I will give it a look when it comes out..Thanks for the Info.

In the release it said that since Ruby Woo is her fave shade it will include that one but re-tooled to be universally flattering to all skintones...hence the reason I said it will probably be full of re-promotes and items already in current collection. It should be interesting to see what else is revealed.

Oh, I didn't see your pics before your I posted. I like the colours, but not the packaging. I think it looks too "delicate", while the inspiration look and make up shades are "hard". I guess they are supposed to juxtapose and show a tough girl who is vulnerable?

I agree with ya VeganBeauty...I would expect studs and leather...almost goth. I'm not feeling the packaging though either.

I am excited for the collabo not because I like Riri (I actually don't like the persona she displays on Twitter or IG for that matter). I am excited though bc no matter how ratchet she seems she is beautiful and I don't think I have ever seen particularly bad makeup on her, so the collabo seems rather interesting. I like the packaging, but I agree it isn't what I was expecting from her. As for the Lip color apparently it will be called Riri Woo and it is a spin on the Ruby Woo color. IDK it seems rather dark I would have to really SEE it before jumping out and buying it. But like with ANY makeup collection, I like to SEE things and swatch them before giving an opinion. Agreed too that I figured she would have done this sooner.
