Ok ladies I'm one month away from getting back on youtube! I have been taking a break to upgrade my knowledge and equipment. I have been practicing like a mad man and my skills are improving! My problem is I have not a damn bit of inspiration when it comes to color! I know about transition colors and the rules and all that other mess. example: I just watched a yt video that a beautiful guru created and she did a purple rock look. Purple brows, purple eyeshadow, dark purple countour. It was flawless and creative! And she is a beautiful woman of color like myself, breaking barriers, and stepping out of the box! Thats the thing though! I wouldnt have thought of that if I had the products smacked right in my face! Which is becoming one of the most frustrating parts about being a MUA! I find it more challenging to find the inspiration and ideas that are original, inspiring, and DIFFERENT! I have videos up that are ok! But I'm stepping my game up to make them excellent! I don't want to be viewed as a copy cat, or a boring same ol same ol "makeup look" guru! Where do you ladies come up with your looks? How do you find inspiration? And when it comes to yt, how do you stand out? I see the looks of all these amazing women. I break out all my makeup and still come up with the same color combos! I want to give my viewers more! I have a great personality! So I'm not worried about much, besides this whole color scheme thing! Help. :(

When I watch videos on youtube sometimes I go for the way that people explain and teach techniques more than what the colors that they are using. it as to be easy to do but nice and different. I love to watch a brazilian bloger called Camila Coelho, you can have a look on her tutorials, she have it in English to, its called "super vaidosa". she is very kind and I love the way she shows her techniques and at the same time she have lots of diferent things but that are helpfull. you just have to find your own inspiration! hope I helped and sory for my english, I'm portuguese :p.
