Bleached Hair Disaster!

Ok so I dyed my hair with box dye last week and it turned orange and I tryed to tone it with purple shampoo but it actually turned my hair bright purple! And then I had to get it re bleeched in the hairdressers! I should hav got it dun ther in the first place! Soo now its kind of yellow and I don't know what to :/ I want it ash blonde :/ help please :)

Buy a violet based toner at Sally's, like Wella Color Charm T18 - Lightest Ash Blonde... I would try to purple shampoo again, but don't let it sit on your hair for as long. they should have toned it for you at the salon though =/

Seems like your hair had a bad reaction, I'm sorry but they have to tone it to the base color you want at the salon and use the purple shampoo once a week fast wash your fair nd used deep conditioners twice a week to restore your hair from all that damage,

"color zap" and other color strippers remove color from hair, you hair is devoid of color right now. They will not help you in this situation.

Thanks :) yea they toned it in the salon but it wasnt the color I wanted even tho I asked for the ashy color and I don't get why they cudnt do the ashy color :/

So its pretty yellow I've tried some purple shampoos but I can't see a diffrence :/ I live in ireland so I can only get uk stuff so il see if those names you guys sed ar in the uk and ireland :)

Make sure before you dye it again you wait atleast 2 weeks before you do so, you don't want your hair to get gummy and fall out!

Yea the color of the roots in that picture was the color I wanted but the purple wouldnt come out haha.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what is available to you in Ireland brand-wise. Try doing an internet search, or searching the websites of local shops for ash blonde toner, I'm sorry I can't really help more =(

You cannot use a color reversal on bleached hair. When you bleach it you remove color pigment so a color reversal will not do anything.

Its called magic silver white! Its from australia its lik drops and you add it to your shapoo or conditioner and make it as strong or light as you want :) its pretty cool :) we can get all of the popular brands here lik loreal ect ect but a lot of the stuff would be diffrent and the varity in the us would be waaay betr I could order stuff but shipping is so expencive haha thanks :)

Coming from a hairstylist, now that your hair has been toned so many times to get it back white will probably take another bleach rinse. Adding purple to make it whiter at this point will only make it look darker. Do a few conditioning treatments and then head back to the salon. It won't take much you just need to break down that yellow. Hope this helps! Don't worry you'll get there it just takes time.

A girl told me in my post for trying to achieve platinum to stay away from box dyes. /: I haven't done any more toning as of late but I have bleached my hair with another process of quick blue. More or less you need to give your hair a break before trying another process. My hair is solid white in some spots, in others its brassy yellow. I'm giving it a two week break to give it some rest. Ion also has a moisture treatment my best friend told me about. Give it a try to help your hair. Buy Wella's Lightest Ash Blonde aka White Lady toner. And pick up protein filler. Make sure it is Neutral filler! It helps in the long run dear. Just be patient, you don't want your hair falling out.
