Pin curls, rag curls, curlers, braids. I agree you need a gel or styling product in first when wet.

You should get curl formers! They're kind of expensive, but they work so well. I use mine once a week. They have ounces for short hair, long hair, narrow curls, wide curls, pretty much any thing you want. I love my curl formers!

Look in YouTube for heartless curls, tons of tutorials. dozens of options, use them a lot, my fave is the sock bun, but your hair has to be poker straight and smooth, and you should definitely dampen it with a texture spray first
