My skin gets super dry in Georgia. I go from the dry cold to the dry heat in the house. I usually use a face moisturizer in the morning and it fine. Lately I have been using it and my skin will flake up up ten minutes later. It has been doing that all day, especially around my mouth and nose.
I was wondering if Vaseline would work, if I put some of it on at night. I know Vaseline has many uses.

I wouldn't recommend putting Vaseline in your face because it will cause a breakout because you'd be clogging your pores. Try using a thicker moisturizer in those areas :)

Oh man, my skin is so dry right now too! I use vaseline on it at night (it hasn't broken me out and I'm very acne prone) and sometimes I do an oatmeal-yogurt face mask. it leaves my face soooooooo soft.

If you are not acne prone, use an oil based moisturizer. Definitely not Vaseline!

I feel your pain girl. I'm in Northeast Florida and the weather has been so crazy lately. And then it doesn't help going into the house with heat. I've resorted to dabbing olive oil on the dry spots on my face. I look forward to spring/summer.

You need a different mousturiser for winter, and maybe use a night cream too.
