I usually only put eyeliner on the bottom but I want to try some on the top what's the best technique ( I guess I should say) for putting it on the top??

Put your elbow on something while holding the eye liner. Makes you not move.

If your hands not steady making a straight line at first, use a smudge brush to soften the line. This also makes a great smoky eye look and you don't have to worry about mistakes as much bc you can just softly blur them.

If you want to do winged eyeliner on the top use tape to make a straight precise line. it helped me to do winged liner. :))

I usually pull the outer corner of my eye so that my lid is tight this helps me to draw a line straight across with no creases from my lid moving around :)
