So I have a problem with applying eyeliner on my upper lid whether it's pencil or liquid liner. I never get it straight line its always wiggly and had bumps and sometimes it doesn't cover the very bottom of the upper lid. (so like my skin color is kinda showing). Am I the only one with this problem? What techniques can I do so I put on properly? All suggestions welcome :)

Try resting your hand on your cheek or a steady surface. Go slow. Eyeliner takes a lot of practice. So if your not used to putting it on then it's going to be messy. I recommend on the weekends try practicing. (: It took me a few months to nail mine, however other people it can take up to a year!

Start slow. Work from the outside of the lid to the inside, using small strokes. You'll get better with practice (:

Pencil is easiest for me if I'm in a hurry but if I have a little more time I prefer liquid liner :)

I think liquid looks better but if you aren't use to working with it than pencil is easier to use. I always start from the inside, go slow if needed, and I always start small (thin) and build up if I want it thicker (plus starting smal makes it easier to correct).

Ilove liquid liner iuse it for my top lid nd the pencil for my bottom. you might have to pull your eye lid to the side nd do it that way but since your not use to it practice wit a pencil liner

Honestly when I first started wearing eyeliner pencil was great for me! Then I got better and started using liquid , but I like my liner to last longer so I use gel, but I think when you align your top lid like the other girls said it takes time, I use to close my eye and my lid out so it's easier to put on , but don't do that all the time! Once you get the hang of it you won't need to even touch your eyelid to put it on!:)

Practice is definitely needed! I only use liquor eyeliner I just think that's the prettiest + it makes you able to make really sharp ends.
The main thing you should practice on is drawing your line in one go, no stop in the middle cos then it'll look bumpy. Kinda get a picture in your head how you want your line to look and then start a thin line and build it up. When you get more skilled you can make the line the thickness you want from the beginning and fill it out. But practice practice pratice! Maybe watch some torturials on YouTube to get some tips?
Best of luck! =)

And for the problem you have with the very bottom of your lid.. Don't worry about letting the eyeliner touch your lashes, so once you're done making the line, fill out where it's needed, I always let my liner go out on my lashes too, that also makes sure there won't be missin spots when doing my mascara.

Liquid gives you a more dramatic look and makes your eyes stand out more, and pencil is mort soft colored and very subtle.
