I heard that they ruin your hair once the come out and you have to cut most of your hair off because it makes it like dreads... Is that true?

I have micro beads and it doesn't ruin your hair at all, one you get then taken out yea you have abit of dead hair around the bead where it hasn't been able to grow but this gets brushed out when they get taken out other than that my hair was fine once it had a trim :)
