How to make curls stay in longer.

I have really straight thin long hair. When I curl my hair the curls come out in like a hour or less. How do I get them to stay in longer?

You can try curling your hair at its natural state & spritz hairspray instead of straightening your hair first than curling, hope I could help :)

My hair has a tough time keeping a curl, what I like to do is just have my natural hair not straightened or anything then I like to use a clipless iron and wrap hair around the barrel, then after when I'm going to release the curl ill let it fall into my hand and pin to my head so they all set and fully cool down. start from the back/bottom of your head first and go up sectioning your hair. they will stay foreverrrrr!! trust, and try :) hope that helped.

And what I mean by clipless it the clamp thing you clamp down on your hair with?? haha if you dont have one take your ordinary curling iron and take the clamp off by using a screwdriver! (: you can always put it back on too. dont burn yourself!!
