Seems like everybody on here is all about the natural make up! what's wrong with a bright green or yellow, purple? ilove wearing different colors other then natural. I rarely wear natural colors, or even lipstick, i will even wear blue lipstick. I honestly can care less what anybody says about wearing funky colors.

I agree! I mean I do wear neutrals but I wear a lot of colours and they just happen to be part of it but I always wear a lot of makeup and I never ever wear 'natural makeup' like just a bit of mascara and lipgloss or whatever. People post pictures of their makeup and I struggle to see that they're wearing any. Slap it on ladies!

I sooo agree! Its so boring to wear just neutrals when there are gorgeous pinks blues, purples, greens.. You get the point haha! Especially when its well done... It looks so beautiful and it makes a point. I don't really believe in the Less is more thing :p.

I hate the term "natural" anyway... there's no way a dark brown or a champagne would magically and naturally show up on your eyelid. Makes me hate the term "wearable" too. If the blue lipstick isn't jumping out of your hands, it's wearable. If someone wants to wear neutrals, it's fine to me. I'll just stick to wearing my bolds most of the time with a side of neutrals when I'm too lazy to really work on my makeup.

Haha @Rikki P. You're right. Suddenly your lips become really shiny for no reason. And to take a picture of a look which is BEING WORN is wearable. I do describe things as a 'more wearable' look though because people understand it, but it is ridiculous

I love bright exotic makeup , it's just how I do me best and I love it. Some girls look good with the "natural look" and that's awesome for them... I think it's just more of a preference of what you like on what day...

Well you can still do beautiful makeup in neutral colours. I think they're lovely. What I find strange is the amount of people who are on this site where the main topic is makeup, but then they don't really like to wear it and they post their FOTD and its just them with no makeup on. Obviously people who don't wear makeup very often can still be interested in it and be good at applying it when they do, but I feel like its a waste of time posting your 'FOTD' if you're not wearing any makeup for people to comment on. Personally I'm here to see makeup, not to see how attractive people are. I just want to see attractive makeup :)

I love color, from acid green to dark purple, natural is okay, but its boring to me, besides if you wanna wear a crazy color, yet somewhat toned down, all you have to do is add browns or blacks to the look...
Byt for sure I'm a color lover, Omg what I don't like though is when someone did the exact same look, but just because of the eye shape they are all lile, "oh you look amazing" nit hating ir anything, but it annoys me lol

Alright everyone, I'm all for "out there makeup" hell, I wear it all the time, but so the fuck what if someone DOESN't want to wear bright green or bright blue. It's there face. Let them do whatever they damn well please. Yeah, I get kind of upset that people are afraid to express themselves, but some people are genuinely just timid, or held back. And quite frankly, if it has ABSOLUTELY NO AFFECT ON YOU why? Please tell me, WHY do you care. Enlighten me.

I'm half an half. I love colors and neutrals and switch it up all the time. Unless I'm lazy I never do make up for it to look "natural". I like smokey eyes! If I use neutrals I use everything! Dark browns to tans to peaches... I love doing smokey eyes with browns!

I agree with ^dana k....not all ppl have the best knowledge of how to put makeup on so that it looks professional...the ppl who are wearing neutral colors could be saying the same thing about you..ppl won't always agree on certain things but that doesnt mean you have to sit behind a screen and discourage ppl who dont like wearing makeup like you do..so please dont sit there and judge others when ppl may be judging you on how you may look like a clown wearing your kind of make up! JUST SAYING!!

When I hear someone say "wearable" I think of it more in terms of what they deem appropriate for certain venues or their own lifestyle/ makeup habits. If that makes any sense.
I say, to each their own. I love my neutrals and I don't think they are boring at all. I feel uncomfortable wearing bright crazy colors in my makeup. I do love to see women who can rock it with confidence, though.

First I think to the people that judge others is never good, but you don't need to be using offensive words, like I said its cool to wear neutrals,just sometimes you wanna see something a bit more crazy, I don't think we are trying yo go and talk crap about anyone, just a sincere, we love color...
Besides this is beautylish, if you don't feel safe here wearing green neon color, then you'll never do, this is a place to explore and learn, and you learn with the mistakes you make!
