I had awful dry ends and my best friend ( who is a hair stylist) told me I wash my hair to much. I wash it once a week or less with cold water rinsing In between and I use a mixed natural/synthetic bristle brush every night and before washing to bring the oil down to the ends. When I do wash my hair I use a gentle shampoo like Biolage delicate care, and a deep conditioner like Redken extreme conditioner that I leave in over night. It's hard to get used to and my hair felt oily the first 2 weeks but now my hair is so soft and I get very few split ends, even with daily straightening!
