I dyed my hair brown :( now I want to keep it white, I'm going to bleach it then use toner. What's a good silver shampoo?

Good luck.

Your hair will be orange if you do that. You have been warned. Go to a salon...I could tell you how to get there but it takes time, patience, a lot of effort and probably more money than you want to spend. Doing it in a salon will probably be considerably less painful for you.

Yeah I have silver/lilac hair and I still go to a salon for all of my bleaching even though I've been doing this color on and off for 12 years. Definitely recommend a salon for this... you will probably end up having to fix it at a salon anyways... sory but its true =/

As for shampoo, Clairol Shimmer Lights gets my hair more violet than any other shampoo. I use Roux Temporary color Rinse in Ultra White Minx to get my hair a more silvery hue though.

Have fun hun. I'm trying to do the thing and nothing good comes from doing it at home. Not to mention you can fry your hair off like I did. My mom use to work in the dept of hair coloring and she too said it was too difficult to achieve platinum hair. My hair is brassy blonde with parts that are actually platinum. Sad thing is, I can't go far now cause I'm out of toner. Its like picking red, hard to keep up with. I hope you can make your goal hun.
