Fix Weak Nails?

My nails are so weak! no matter what I do they can never grow long because they will tear or chip of break. how can I make my nails stronger?

Same problem here.. I keep them short! And always use nail hardner. I dint use a clipper, only my file.. And give them regular care; push back cuticles, use cuticle oil and handcreme! Ever since I'm doing this, they re harder, more even and smooth. The only thing is; if they grow longer, they still break.. Were just the girls that have to deal with shorter nails.. (:

If you want longer nails, you can get gel or acrylic. But this isnt good for your nails! So when they come of, theyre still weak, if not weaker.

Hello Cynthia,
I've had the same problem for decades, booo!
But, finally I've find a product that made the difference, you should give Sally Hansen Hard as nails, and post your results here.
P.S it is unexpensive.
