I have the same problem. What I do is start with cover girls lash blast length (yellow tube) just to separate and define my lashes a little, then I use maybellines illegal length for more length, and the I finish up with maybellines the rocket :) it's been working pretty well for me :)

It's kinda pricey for a mascara but I love Shiseidos Perfect mascara. Holds curl, never smudges or flakes. I got it at Costco for around $17.

I like Benefit's They're Real! mascara. To help with your lash problem, you can always rub a little Vaseline or castor oil on them at night to help them grow.

My absolute favorite is "They're Real" by Benifit at Ulta. $20 for a tube but I've found that I don't have to buy a new tube as often and I only use one application. Opposed to the five or six I'd use with any other mascara

Either covergirl lashblast volume or loreal voluminous lashed for drugstore mascaras. For high end, I like the tarte lights, camera, lashes! :)
