Bridal Shows For Makeup Artists. Worth It??

Hey all,

What are your opinions on bridal shows for makeup Artists? I did one and wasn't crazy about it. I was going to try one that is well known but I'm not sure if its worth what Ill be spending. I'm going half on a table which is why I'm considering it but then I'm hesitant even spending that because the costs do add up and I keep hearing that all brides who recently got engaged go. They go mainly to book venues and djs and for the free stuff. Do you think it's worth the investment for makeup artists?

I've had TERRIBLE luck at bridal shows, even when I was the only makeup/hair person at the show! Huge waste of money.

Thanks guys. After much thought, I decided it wasn't worth it and used that money elsewhere to advertise :)
