I want to look girly and fashionable for my school dance but it isn't really my style. I'm more laid back throw something on type of girl. Any suggestions.

I really hate the color pink but if I look nice in it I will wear it. I have to have a relatively conservative neckline, so no cleavage! I also have to have a hemline that is at least at my knee and some sort of a sleeve that is more than a cap sleeve. If it has straps please recommend a jacket and no strapless please. I have found I like the high-low hemline as well. I am not the most fashionable person either. I also happen to have a stomach so if you have a suggestion that would camouflage that it would be great. Thanks!

You can wear a skater dress. If the length is a little short you can wear opaque tights so you're not showing too much skin. You can wear a leather jacket or cardigan to keep you warm if it's cold wear you're at.

That is kind of what I did last year. I wore a black lace dress with frayed edges that had a nude base. It also had a tutu type thing under it and a black bow in the center on the front. I wore it with a black leather jacket and black combat boots. I was more rocker than I want this year. I really want something flow-y and girly yet still fashionable.
