How do you take good pictures of your makeup with a stinky camera (specifically on a Samsung galaxy sII?)
I do some really nice work but get frustrated when I cannot document it well...

I use high end products but the image quality often sucks and lighting either is to bright or shadowy.

Honestly it's all about the quality of camera. I find lots of camera's are bad at picking up the right colour of the makeup. It's best to use natural light. However, don't directly face the light because then it make your face appear too bright. It's all about experimenting and playing with your angles. Try to do your makeup more intense so that the camera will pick it up easier. Hopefully this helped, but the only way to really take good quality photo's is to get a good quality camera.

If you say the lighting is bad then contouring can really help either direct the light or give the appearence of good lighting:) also picking the right colours to suit the eye colour and skin complexion would help out. I'm sure there more to it than that but I don't know that much ;)
