Try cetaphil cream, it's for dry and sensitive skin. I love it and use it daily. Make my skin feel soft and young :-)

I have very sensitive skin. I really love Ponds dry skin cream. It is in a white jar with a blue lid. It's only about 6 bucks anywhere. It moisturizers but not too much. It even helps a little with my red skin.

Try using Mary Kay extra emollient night cream after you wash your face. in the morning avoid using face wash and rinse your face with just water and apply your daily face moisturizer with spf I use mac studio moisture tint with spf 15.

A product that really helped me was the Yonka Masque No1. It is on the pricier side but I swear it works. Regularly, you're supposed to put in on and then wipe it off but since my skin was really dry, I leave it on for overnight. I just used one 1.8oz and it made all the difference. Now I'm using Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream and it a good up keep too.

I use just a vitamin E cream. I have very dry skin and it seems to work well. Doesn't matter the brand, just a basic vitamin E cream.

@ALEX G. - I'm not sure if I understood your question right but if you're asking if you should put on the moisturizer before makeup, then the answer is yes! It goes on before any makeup!

My mom swears by Nivea.. I used this for a while when I was younger but then discovered higher brands that I think are better for me.. But the only thing was that I believe it was mineral oil in the ingredients that held me back cuz it's not good for your skin I heard.. But it works for some people I guess:)

Spectro Jel has a wonderful line of cleansers and Moisturizers for all types of skin, including dry. I use this line and it‘s great for daytime underneath foundation, as well as at night. Pair it with a macademia oil at night and you skin will be super hydrated. (:
