So I am half black half white. I have wavy, curly hair, when I was little it was long and beautiful... Until my grandma made me get tomany chemical treatments and weaves , my hair broke off, I've been chemical and weave free for a year or more and my hair has grown alil past My shoulders. I normally straighten it a lot considering I refuse to wear it natural... But I'm willing to wear my hair natural after a shower in a bun... If I did that more will my hair grow alittle?

What you listed will definitely help your hair grow. I don't know about the bun thing though.
Also if you don't blow dry your hair a lot; that will help also.
Shampoos that are sulfate free and that has coconut or rosemary in them will help as well.

Maybe leave your hair in a braid instead of a bun, you'd be stimulating your roots a bit more. Yes use sulfate free shampoo my favorite is the Enjoy brand. Also use the coconut oil to massage your roots. Hope this helps. (:

What ever you do. don't blow dry your hair "a lot" thats just as bad as straightening it a lot.. I am also half back and white. mixed giirl. I love wearing my hair short. but one thing I notice is my natural hair doesn't grow like it used to when I was younger. go to sallys and get One N' Only hair products. they are amazing in keeping your hair protected against damage to help it be healthier for hair growth.

Something that has really really REALLY helped my hair grow is oily my scalp and ends with coconut oil and castor oil mixed and then sleeping in a plastic cap with a beenie on top then I tie it down with a scarf. Then rinse your hair in the morning. its really great for natural hair it helps define your curls by bringing the sebum from your roots too your ends which makes your stronger. since doing this 3x a week my hair went from Macy Grey finger in a socket fro to pretty bouncy soft curly coils and the growth is a plus. I hardly ever where my hair straight unless I wear weave but if done properly your hair should grow from weave not break be carefully of who you let in your hair treat your hair like a cashmere sweater:) good luck and happy hair growth!

Putting your hair up all the time can actually make it break off and grow slower.
